QE Student Secures Dream Job

Keen sportsman, Ben Rodker from Darlington, has secured his dream job with Craig’s Coaching Hub in Sunderland, working in schools and community groups coaching PE with a range of children and teenagers. He shone among other applicants for this post, using the skills he developed through his A Levels studies in PE (Physical Education), Sport and Leisure (Double Award) alongside gaining further qualifications in Sports Leadership and first aid.  He also played football for the QE first team.  Paul Carroll, who was Ben’s tutor and football coach says “Ben thoroughly deserves this job, it is perfect for him.  Ben was an excellent student and team player, was always willing to help others in his classes, as well as being a keen sportsman. He was keen to learn and took every opportunity he could to gain additional qualifications alongside his studies.  We are delighted for him”
