QE’s Amnesty International Youth Group are taking action today to support women’s rights. The group are campaigning among students to raise awareness about Amnesty’s campaign in support of a Polish abortion rights activist and about the issue of sexual violence against women in Tigray. They are encouraging students to write letters to the Polish Prosecutor General and the Ethiopian prime Minister. These campaign are part of Amnesty’s annual Write for Rights campaign. The group plan to do more awareness raising in future on the issues of refugee rights and the right to protest.
