Film & Media students had an excellent visit to Leeds Trinity University for a Film & Media-based taster day of university life. They had the opportunity to look at the courses and facilities available as well as seeing what life is like there. Students had a tour of the campus and an inspiring talk by David Dodds, Faculty Leader. After this they had workshops on screenplay writing, and another, which was hands on experience of producing a news broadcast. This took part in their recently renovated state-of-the-art TV studio. The university even kindly donated a range of equipment to QE, including boom microphones and lighting rigs. They will be brilliant resources for the department – thank you Leeds Trinity Media & Film Department!
