On this industry-relevant vocational course, you can specialise in aiding athletes’ recovery and rehabilitation from injury through sports massage and other treatments or you could focus more on the business side of sport in areas such as event management and marketing, and sports media.

Whatever area of sport you are interested in, the course can provide a range of transferable skills and knowledge areas. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a work placement and complete several coaching qualifications. The course is ideal for you to move onto university or to enter the workplace because of the combination of a theoretical background that’s reinforced with practical learning and assessment. The course is available as either a one or two A level equivalent.

All Cambridge Diplomas help you develop your personal skills in areas applicable to any workplace, such as team working, communication and problem solving. The courses have been designed to accredit your achievements and ability to carry out tasks in a way that is relevant to the workplace.

Double Sport & Leisure (100% Coursework)
All units are internally assessed. There are no exams.
On the double course you will study 12 units in total over 2 years.
Single Sport & Leisure (66% Coursework)
Some units are internally assessed by the College and some units are assessed by exams.
It is strongly recommended that you should have at least a grade 4 in GCSE English.
In this subject, particular skills and aptitudes will be required, many of which will be demonstrated by students’ GCSE profiles.
